HVAC Technician
Job Description
Great Lakes Skilled Trades is a fast growing skilled labor & trades contractor that services commercial, industrial, and residential industries. We work with local contractors on projects from multi-family housing to restaurant chains, medical facilities, factories, office buildings, distribution centers, and more. GLST is a growing company, and we are looking to expand our workforce with quality driven craftsmen looking for steady work and career growth!
We are currently looking for experienced HVAC technicians!$20+ hourly, based on experience
Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of HVAC experience- Experience in both new installs & service - Drivers License & Reliable transportation- Basic hand tools- Self-Starter – Able to work with and without supervision- Able to take direction- Possess a Safety-First Mindset
Job details:- Service on residential furnaces and A/C’s, commercial rooftop units, sheet metal duct systems, refrigeration, gas piping, ductless mini splits, low voltage wiring, and controls.- Work effectively to complete service in a timely, efficient manner- Be able to properly diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment- Communicate effectively with customers and service dispatchers- Assist in installation when needed
