Job Description
Great Lakes Skilled Trades is a fast-growing skilled labor contractor in the Midwest, connecting top talent with great job opportunities. We have immediate openings and are looking for quality craftsmen who want steady work and career growth.
Starting pay: $20.00/h - $35.00/hr
Job May Include:- Pre-engineered or Structural Ironwork- Layouts, rigging steel, and direct crane with hand signals- Connecting steel by bolting or welding (SMAW)- Install floor deck, siding, and roofing- Jobsite cleanup (Skytrak experience is a plus)- Tasks appointed by foreman on site
Qualifications:- 1+ years of experience in ironworking (structural and pre-engineered)- Driver’s license and reliable transportation required- Understanding of safety on construction sites- Possess basic tools- Must be reliable and able to take direction- Must be comfortable with heights- Willingness to travel
