Job Description
Position: Mechanical Insulator
Location: Kent County
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20-$28 Hourly

Job Responsibilities May Include:
Installation of insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, and mineral wool on pipes, tanks, ducts, and other mechanical systems
Measuring and cutting materials to the specified size and shape using tools such as saws, knives, and other hand tools
Prepping surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and installation of vapor barriers if applicable
Remove and replace damaged insulation and any other repair work as needed
Working at heights in either scissor lifts, boom lifts, ladders, or scaffolds
Following safety guidelines and using the proper personal protective equipment to ensure safe working environment
Any other tasks appointed by the foreman
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Mechanical Insulation
Possess and have proficiency in using basic tools
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 Certification
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials (50+ lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Good communication skills to interact with supervisors, contractors, and team members.
