Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions and screening criteria.
- Source, screen, and recruit skilled talent using ATS, job boards, referrals, and networking.
- Attend industry events to connect with potential candidates (5-10% travel required).
- Build relationships with candidates, understand their career drivers, and guide them through the hiring process.
- Negotiate and prepare employment offers, conduct background checks, and oversee onboarding to ensure a seamless experience.
- Verify industry credentials and experience to meet client requirements.
- Perform general office duties as needed.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in Skilled Trades, Construction, Technical, or Specialized Recruiting preferred.
- Comfortable with phone outreach, networking, and referrals to build a robust talent pool.
- A sense of urgency and a positive, can-do attitude when responding to staffing needs.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (including Excel), and recruiting tools.
- Skilled in social media and online recruiting strategies.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
