The Role
We are seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our team! As a Recruiter, you will play a key role in finding and hiring high-quality skilled trades professionals to support our business development team. Your expertise in recruitment, communication, and relationship building will ensure we continue to meet the needs of our clients and make a positive impact on the lives of our workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions and screening criteria.
  • Source, screen, and recruit skilled talent using ATS, job boards, referrals, and networking.
  • Attend industry events to connect with potential candidates (5-10% travel required).
  • Build relationships with candidates, understand their career drivers, and guide them through the hiring process.
  • Negotiate and prepare employment offers, conduct background checks, and oversee onboarding to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Verify industry credentials and experience to meet client requirements.
  • Perform general office duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Skilled Trades, Construction, Technical, or Specialized Recruiting preferred.
  • Comfortable with phone outreach, networking, and referrals to build a robust talent pool.
  • A sense of urgency and a positive, can-do attitude when responding to staffing needs.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (including Excel), and recruiting tools.
  • Skilled in social media and online recruiting strategies.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
