Sheet Metal Installer/Fabricator
Job Description
Position: Sheet Metal Installer/FabricatorLocation: Allendale with 50% travelJob Type: Full-TimePay: $25.00-$28.00+ Hourly (Depending On Experience)
This position requires some travel. Typically 2 weeks-1 month at a time

Job Responsibilities May Include:- Installing sheet metal products to blueprint specifications- Installing and operating rigging/hoisting equipment- Operating metalworking machines like drill presses, punches, shears, brakes, and other CNC equipment to bend, cut, punch, drill, shape, and or straighten sheet metal- Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering, and similar equipment to fabricate various parts- Quality control using micrometers, calipers, or other measurement instruments- Set up equipment, read blueprints, and follow directives from supervisors
Requirements:- 2 years of experience in Fabrication & Installation- MIG welding experience on 16 gauge, ¼”, ⅜”, & ½” materials- TIG/Stick experience is a plus- Possess and have proficiency in using basic tools- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license- Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 Certification- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials (50+ lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.- Good communication skills to interact with supervisors, contractors, and team members.
